With over 14 years in the real estate industry, I have gathered many tools to assist my clients in their home buying and selling success. I have a strong background in mortgage lending and I am an expert in country/equestrian properties. I live in the Loomis area with my three wonderful boys, amazing hubby, and our horses, dogs, chickens, and goats.
Besides serving as a Director for the Loomis Basin Education Foundation, and the PTC President at Penryn School, I also spearheaded the creation of an outdoor education space for the Penryn Students to take advantage of the forested surroundings and year round stream on the school grounds. As a REALTOR® and former educator, I bring years of experience in not only helping families with their educational decisions but finding that dream home near the school of their choice. I have partnered with my REALTOR® daughter, Darcie Stratton, to make sure that together we can make your real estate dreams happen! This collaboration has been a key to our success as we receive many referrals from our satisfied clients.
Giving back in our community and making it stronger is one of our priorities. Both Darcie and I have served on the Loomis Basin Education Foundation and served our local school district as Co-Chairs of the LBEF Holiday Home Tours. The Annual Home Tour brings in thousands of dollars for our schools and students.
In addition, I have served on the Board of Directors for Placer County Association of REALTORS (PCAR) for 5 years and was recently Honored as 2021 PCAR REALTOR of the Year. Just recently I was also honored by my peers to be elected as 2023 President Elect of the California Women’s Council of REALTORS, this is an organization that provides professional development and networking with REALTORS all over the United States.

Our Community and Professional Commitment
As members and homeowners in the communities in which they work, Darcie and her mother, Taffy, understand the importance of community involvement and commitment. They feel strongly about serving in their community and striving to make “home” a better place.
As a former educator, Taffy is always looking to improve the educational opportunities for all. Within Placer County and as a board member and Past President of Placer Area Reading Council, Taffy made many connections to the area schools and teachers. Both Darcie and Taffy are active with the Loomis Basin Education Foundation with Taffy serving on the board as a Director. This dynamic team is co-chairing the 10th Annual Holiday Home Tour in the Loomis, Penryn and Newcastle areas. Proceeds generated go to fund art and technology programs in the area schools. Professionally Taffy is very involved in the Placer Women’s Council of REALTORS® serving as Director of Membership (2015), President Elect (2016) and President (2017). As President, Taffy is driving the professional development and leadership opportunities for Placer County REALTORS®.
As a mother of three and a REALTOR®, Darcie continues to serve the community as a four-year Board Member of the Penryn School PTC. As a horsewoman and former nationally ranked Equestrian Vaulter, she brings her love of horses to the community. Working with associate Alicia Blackwood of Summit Funding she helps promote a pony therapy program for at risk children. Meanwhile, this busy professional promotes the country life training her horse, goats, chickens and children!
